Pines Bach LLP attorney Christa Westerberg authored a guest editorial entitled “AG Schimel’s office working nationwide for private interests.” The editorial, published by Madison’s Capital Times, discusses recent legal filings by the Wisconsin Attorney General. It explains the Attorney General’s expanded practice of filing amicus curiae, or “friend of the court” briefs, in federal courts nationwide, and their limited connection to the state of Wisconsin and interests of its citizens.
Westerberg has previously written about the office of the Wisconsin Attorney General, in a 2001 Wisconsin Law Review comment.
